This business centre is highly visible on its second and third floor corner location in Hannover's central station area and business district. The prominent building has undergone a complete refurbishment as the venue for upscale fashion stores on the ground floor and high-end offices on the four floors above. The centre overlooks a pleasant pedestrian area. It is located in Bahnhofstra'e, and is a neighbour to the city's old mayoral building and the opera house. The central station, a hub of the German high-speed ICE network, is opposite. In Hannover, city with worldwide biggest exhibition grounds, several leading fairs take place attracting international attention such as CeBIT or Hannover Messe. Apart, Hannover's economy is dominated by Volkswagen's Commercial Vehicles Transporter factory and other tyre and automobile parts companies. The city is also home to many major insurance companies. Travel and tourism like TUI is a big local employer as well. Hannover, provincial capital and place of government, has set up programmes to promote start-up companies and help others grow, particularly in automotive, energy, IT, communications, optical technology, creative and production engineering industries.
